Easy Cheesecake Recipes

Do you know that for a long time home bakers have wondered that making a cheesecake was something beyond their skills and expertise? Hence most people simply get their cheesecake fix by ordering it at restaurants or buying the dessert at the local bakery. Now it's time to relax and start baking cheesecakes at home. With the advent of the Internet, home bakers can find numerous easy cheesecake recipes. Some of the best places to look for easy cheesecake recipes are brand sites.

Choosing an easy cheesecake recipe is relatively simple. Choose one that has a few simple ingredients and doesn't require much skill. As you get more experienced, you can choose the more complex recipes.

The first tip for the new cheesecake baker is to take your cream cheese out of the refrigerator at least an hour before you need to use it. Take the cream cheese out of the package and put it in a bowl. Heat the oven to 450 degrees. Before you freak out, you will cut the heat down fairly quickly after baking. Place a pan of water in the bottom rack of the oven. This will provide extra moisture.

Using a mixer beat three packages of eight ounce cream cheese on medium until the mixture is creamy. Add three fourths cup sugar and beat until the sugar is incorporated and creamy. Do not over beat or the cheesecake will be tough. Add three eggs one egg at a time. Beat on medium until each egg is incorporated. Add one teaspoon vanilla and bat until incorporated. Stir in one and one half cups Hershey's mini semi-sweet chocolate chips. If you want to experiment, you could use other kinds of chips. Go wild; try every kind of chips on the market.

Pour the cream cheese mixture into a nine ounce graham cracker crust. You can find these at any grocery store. You can even experiment with different flavored crusts. The chocolate crust is also very good. You be the judge.

Bake at the super high temperature for ten minutes. Immediately change the oven temperature to 250 degrees. Bake for twenty more minutes or until the center of the cheesecake is almost set. Try not to open the oven door before the cheesecake is almost baked. If you don't trust your oven, look in the oven window. Take the cheesecake out of the oven to cool.

One of the great things about this recipe is that the topping will cover any crack or a two brown top. Place one third cup chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave the chips on high for about twenty to thirty seconds. Stir the chips to see if they are melted. Chips hold their shape so it's hard to tell if chips are melted. If the mixture is smooth, cool for about five minutes. Then pour the melted chips over the cheesecake and smooth like you would icing on a cake. Cool and put in the refrigerator. Cooling overnight is best. Enjoy this very easy cheesecake recipe. You may never even want to bake the more difficult ones. It is just that delicious.
