In the late forties, Oscar and Evelyn Overton opened a small bakery to sell the incredibly delicious cheesecakes made by Mrs. Overton. She had made cheesecakes for friends and families for years. In fact her perfect cheesecakes became a legend in her hometown of Detroit.
